Our Story
Wandering Spirits Global is run by two whisky lovers, Amanda and Roddy, who are dedicated to celebrating whisky distilleries through photography, art and sharing our favourite whisky experiences.
Our journey began when Amanda, our Australian-born photographer, left her homeland in 2015 to explore the world. Her travels led her through Japan and Ireland before arriving in Scotland—the land of her ancestors—where fate intervened. Amanda fell in love with Roddy, an Ileach (Islay native) who worked at Bruichladdich Distillery, and together they embarked on a spirited journey that would become Wandering Spirits Global.
Amanda and Roddy are currently based in Australia, where they continue to share their spirited adventures and expertise. Our experiences touring iconic whisky regions inform our products, and the travel advice and touring tips we love to share with fellow whisky pilgrims.
